Design, Development
& Planning Fee

DESIGN CONCEPT, DEVELOPMENT & GENERAL PLANNING
Creation of a full design plan to define the wedding aesthetic. Preparation and maintenance of a clear and concise design-planning schedule and budget. Six 1-hr meetings to review progress, milestones, review design vendor details work through any general planning questions and start the wedding day timeline. Custom floorplans to optimize event flow and create interest in the space.

THE REHEARSAL & WEDDING DAY
At the 6-week mark, we'll begin to finalize the rest of the details with your non-design-related vendors to confirm the itinerary, final balances owing, and other outstanding information. Virtual meetings at 4 and 2 weeks allow us to finalize the itinerary, logistics, and to-dos and get the final guest list prepared for the venue/caterer with meal choices, allergies, and floorplans. Distribution of the final wedding day itinerary to each vendor, rehearsal coverage, and on-site wedding day support for up to 10 hours from two planners. Vendor Management Fee
(on each design vendor’s subtotal with a minimum fee of $2,250)

VENDOR SOURCING & MANAGEMENT
Researching, sourcing, and assistance in the final selection, of the vendors contributing to the design such as the florist, stationer, cake, and rentals (ie. linens and napkins, charger plates, glassware, chairs, draping dance floor, etc.). Management of the above-mentioned vendors including attendance at all vendor appointments and follow-ups and maintaining all design-related timelines for the vendors and client.


You can expect to spend a minimum of $6,500 on this service, plus pay the vendors directly for their costs (ie. florals, chairs, linens, etc.).

Separate ceremony and reception locations, outside catering vendors, tight venue-access timelines, larger guest counts or other event specifics may require additional associate planners and/or additional hours of planning assistance ahead of the wedding to facilitate the plans.

  • Example No. 1:
    Design Budget Subtotal: $30,000
    Vendor Management Fee: $30,000 x 10% = $3,000
    Design, Development & Planning Fee: $4,250
    Total Fees: $7,250 + hst

    Example No. 2:
    Design Budget Subtotal: $15,000
    Vendor Management Fee: $15,000 x 10% = $1,500
    Design, Development & Planning Fee: $4,250
    Total Fees: The minimum investment of $6,500 + hst applies.
